What makes us special?
In the heart of Cheshire, we rear heritage breeds slowly and naturally on open pasture. Grass-fed for deep flavour and tender texture, rich in omega-3s. Careful grazing supports wildlife, healthier soils, and the land for generations.
Our Beliefs
Food should do more than fill your plate - it should connect us to the land and the people behind it. Everything we do is guided by care: for our animals (high welfare, pasture-raised), for the land (healthy, living soils), and for our community (supporting local Cheshire family farms).
Generational farmers
Farming is in the Cooke familys blood. For generations, the same values have been passed down - looking after the land, raising livestock with respect, and doing things properly, not quickly. Today, Thomas Cooke continues that tradition, combining old-fashioned care with a modern way to buy direct from the farm.
Farm Shop Open Everyday
Pick up our produce every day from 7am until 7pm - or longer if our gate is open. Our secure on-site farm shop shed is home to easy-to-use vending machines stocked with local produce - including our grass-fed beef - plus treats like ice cream. Fancy a quick stop on the way past? There are also bean to cup coffee machines, so you can grab a brew while you shop.

With a convenient location near Chester, it is an easy stop for picking up grass-fed beef and a few treats whenever it suits you.
